Hi, my name is Sarah Patterson. I am very passionate about being successful and helping others pursue their goals and dreams. I believe the true meaning of success can’t be captured by reading Warren Buffet’s biography; it can’t be fulfilled by emulating mother Theresa, looking like Katherine Hepburn or even leading the masses like Gandhi. I think true success is defined by the ability to withstand all the evils, pressures, and joys that life squeezes out of you and yet choose to become a better, not bitter person. Our life experiences uniquely shape and define our dreams and inadvertently our desire for success as well. If you live long enough you’ll know hard times are as inescapable as death and student loans. Yet some people are utterly incapacitated by the first blow life hits them with, stopped at the first fork in the road, while others continue to rise unceasingly from the mat blow after blow almost heedless that loss is an option. Success, in essence, is the ability to redefine oneself fervently regardless of the circumstance. Success begins with the ability to commit your mind first. This, I have chosen to do with every goal in mind. You have to be open to new ideas and you have to be committed to the journey ahead. Growing up I did not know my father, was raised by my mother and had three brothers and a sister. One sibling, I can honestly say is responsible for my determination to be successful and to help others. Jordan, my youngest brother, was born with Down syndrome and it forever changed my life, as well as touched my heart. Success was what I dreamed about. Everyday since I’d made up my mind about my goal, I worked hard towards it. I wanted to be different, I wanted to succeed and I wanted to make something of myself. Success is simply being able to harness fear and understand what success is. I believe it’s being happy with who you are and what you have, however, I believe that everyday you should reach for any dream or goal you have in your life, but in the long run, you can’t fail if you are happy with life. Let me assist you in becoming successful and conquering one of your most important journeys, buying or selling your home.
